American Properties receives 2017 B.E.A.M. Award
The SBACNJ hosted ‘A Night of Honor’ on September 12 at Jumping Brook Country Club in Neptune.
ISELIN, NJ – American Properties Realty, Inc., A Licensed Real Estate Broker, received the prestigious 2017 Builders Engaging Associate Members (B.E.A.M.) Award at the 2018 Shore Builders Association of Central New Jersey’s “A Night of Honor” on September 12 at Jumping Brook Country Club in Neptune. The event honored various SBACNJ members who have worked tirelessly to ensure the longevity of the association.
The B.E.A.M. Award is a symbol of respect to the Builder member who best exemplifies the significant teamwork of Builder and Associate members doing business together. Randy Csik, President of American Properties Realty, Inc., accepted the award.
In his acceptance speech, Randy said: “Builders Employing Associate Members. It sounds simple. It’s not a hard concept, but what we do every day is hard. Do we constantly struggle every day to maintain and grow our membership? You bet we do. Do we have a vast majority of our own core industry people that affiliate and train those members? We don’t. And I don’t think we have enough. It’s quite obvious to me however that everyone in this room are members or associate members, and we understand the difficulties… I for one recognize what hard fought battles have been won. And they have consistently added to the success of our industry. Some battles were just standoffs, but they stopped legislation which otherwise would have had major negative impact for us all. It is very conceivable that without the efforts of the NJBA, American Properties would not be here today.”
Randy continues on to credit the state and local leadership for helping American Properties grow during the crisis of 2008 and the years following. “Our industry and the entire state did better because of our Builder’s association,” he said. “The government continues to overregulate, overtax and underrecognize our industry’s contributions to New Jersey. But you do not. You realize it. That’s why you are here. We understand that our collective livelihoods are constantly being challenged and that is why you support the SBACNJ and the NJBA… that’s why you give your time, your money, and your advice to our team and the team at the state and local levels to keep the housing industry strong. And for that our sincere thank you. We cannot do what we do without you. I would also like to thank our board members both past and present for their efforts and to the staff for the hard work in the trenches each and every day. I and everyone at American Properties is sincerely honored for receiving this award.”
Randy is one of the most well-known figures in the development industry, and, under his direction, American Properties has expanded into various industries including brokerage and consulting. Randy is also a member of Shore Builders Association, an advisory board member of First Bank & Columbia Bank, and is a Past Distinguished President of the Kiwanis Club of Edison. Spectrum for Living, a non-profit organization dedicated to assisting disable adults, named Randy “Man of the Year” in 1992. Today, Randy continues to serve as Spectrum for Living board member and on the Spectrum Advisory Board.
